Kristina Crowell - School Counselor

My name is Ms. Crowell and I am the School counselor at Madiba Prep. I service all students in the school, even those who do not have mandated counseling. I provide counseling for academic achievement, social emotional development, and career goal setting. Oftentimes I collaborate with teachers to help create a plan of action to better support students and their learning.

At Madiba we ensure the social emotional needs of our students are met by including social emotional learning into our daily curriculum; teaching our scholars how to manage their emotions and build appropriate interpersonal skills with their peers and adults. We are partnered with College Access for All Middle Schools which gives us the opportunity to visit college campuses, in person and virtually, as we prepare for postsecondary education goals from a young age. I work closely with students and families so that you feel confident knowing that your child is prepared for long-term success beyond the walls of Madiba Prep Middle School.
