Madiba Prep Middle School
Inclusion Program
Learning and Growing Together
Madiba Prep Middle School is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for all students to learn, grow, and participate as valued members of our school community. Through our Inclusion Program, students transitioning from P140, District 75 settings and who have demonstrated academic and behavioral readiness are welcomed into the Madiba community and participate in the life of our school.
Opportunities for Students
Students in the Inclusion Program receive opportunities to:
- Participate in general education classes alongside their peers
- Access grade-level academic instruction with appropriate supports and accommodations
- Engage in extracurricular activities, school events, and school-wide initiatives
- Build social relationships and communication skills in authentic learning environments
- Develop independence, self-confidence, and self-advocacy skills
- Experience a smooth transition to less restrictive educational settings
Working Together for Success
Our staff works collaboratively with District 75 personnel, related service providers, families, and support staff to ensure that students receive the individualized supports necessary for success.
Belonging and High Expectations
The Inclusion Program reflects our belief that every student benefits from learning in a diverse and supportive environment. By fostering belonging, acceptance, and high expectations, we help students make meaningful academic, social, and emotional progress while becoming active members of the Madiba Prep community.
